Never Miss a Post

Want new posts delivered straight to you? Here’s how to add an RSS Feeder to your browser. Instead of getting an email, you’ll get a notification in your RSS feed reader whenever a new blog or article is published. This is a simple and efficient way to follow multiple blogs without having to visit each one individually. Let’s get started:

Step 1: Choose an RSS Reader
There are two main types of RSS readers:
  • Browser Extensions – These sit right inside your browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) and let you subscribe with one click. Popular ones include:
    • Chrome: RSS Feed Reader or Feeder
    • Firefox: Feedbro
    • Edge: Feeder
  • Web-based Readers – These work like apps in your browser so that you can log in from anywhere. Examples:
    • Feedly
    • Inoreader
    • The Old Reader
Step 2: Install or Sign Up
  • If you choose a browser extension, go to your browser’s extension store, search for the reader (e.g., “RSS Feed Reader”), and click Add to Browser.
  • If you prefer a web-based reader, sign up for a free account on their site.
Step 3: Add the Feed to Your Reader
  • On this blog (Soul Unscripted), click on the “Subscribe to Posts” or click on the icon in the top right corner to the right of the Facebook icon.
  • Once there, you’ll see “Follow this Feed With.” Choose from the drop-down menu the RSS feeder you plan to use. If you don’t see your RSS feeder in the list, you can add it by selecting “Add new.”
  • Once you choose your feeder, click the “+Follow” or “Add Feed or Posts.”
Now, whenever I post something new, you’ll see it magically appear automatically in your RSS reader.
